“We are delighted to be working with PocketBook, to bring our Publishers’ e-books and audiobooks to new heights, giving the UK public full access to the Gardners catalogue”, stated Ali Balaban, Gardners’ Head of Digital Product. “As a trusted partner in the book business, we are excited to be working with our first e-reader brand”.
Nigel Wyman, Chief Sales Officer commented, “this is a culmination of hard work between PocketBook and the Gardners’ team. We are pleased to be able to finally offer our full catalogue of digital products to a wider audience in the UK via this collaboration”.
Seamless access for all readers
The UK bookstore is available immediately on PocketBook e-readers, without firmware updates required. To access it, existing users simply need to log out of the current bookstore and switch off the e-reader. After switching on, tap the PocketBook Store icon, then UK customers can choose the English (British) bookstore from the store selection. New PocketBook users will have the UK store right out of the box. Purchases are synced with the PocketBook Cloud, making books instantly available on all users’ devices: brand e-readers, iOS and Android smartphones or tablets with PocketBook Reader app, and even on the web via the cloud.pocketbook.digital platform.
For readers without PocketBook devices, the store is equally open: e-books can be purchased through the online store and read using any LCP DRM-compatible app – including the PocketBook Reader app for iOS and Android, a worldwide popular mobile solution for e-reading. Users can also enjoy their purchased titles on laptops and desktop computers via any application that supports LCP DRM-protected content.
With millions of e-books now available in the local UK bookstore, PocketBook makes digital reading more comfortable and enjoyable across devices.
