The new firmware updates bring a significantly faster browser speed for PocketBook Touch HD and PocketBook Touch HD 2 and more convenient SMARTlight tune-up opportunities for PocketBook InkPad 3.

In mid-June the new firmware update 5.18.421 for PocketBook Touch HD and PocketBook Touch HD 2 will be launched. The users will receive a significantly increased internet browsing speed. The new web engine meets all modern requirements supporting major WEB technologies such as HTML 5, java script and CSS 3. From now on, the web pages will be opened quickly as well as displayed in the most convenient way. This enhancement expands the opportunities for Internet browsing and gives even more freedom to the users.

Furthermore, with the firmware version 740.5.17.1736 for PocketBook InkPad 3, users do not need to interrupt reading to adjust the brightness or light temperature. It is now possible to adjust SMARTlight directly from the reading app, right on an e-book page. Just swipe with the finger upwards on the right part of the touchscreen and tune-up the brightness level. Likewise, the left side of the touchscreen is responsible for the colour temperature setting. The firmware update is already available for the users through Wi-Fi OTA update and on the official web-page.
