PocketBook Adds IONNYK to Its Portfolio: IFA Berlin Sees InkPoster and IONNYK Together

15 September 2025

PocketBook has completed the acquisition of IONNYK, the Belgian luxury maker of monochrome ePaper art frames. IONNYK joined the PocketBook brand portfolio and – together with InkPoster – was presented at a joint stand at IFA Berlin 2025, one of the world’s leading technology events.

By bringing IONNYK into its portfolio, PocketBook unites two distinct artistic visions under one commercial strategy: InkPoster’s vibrant color capability and IONNYK’s restrained monochrome elegance. Both brands share same practical advantages – cordless installation, phenomenal energy-efficiency (up to 1 year on a single charge), and zero Blue Light – making them attractive to designers and art-enthusiasts.

The debut at IFA 2025 was a major success for both InkPoster and IONNYK. At the PocketBook joint stand, attendees experienced InkPoster’s three color models (Tela 28.5″, Affresco 31.5″, Affresco 13.3″) alongside IONNYK’s flagship Maxine (127 × 103 cm). Both color and black-and-white screens quickly won fans, showcasing not only the unique identity of each brand but also the huge potential of digital art with energy-efficient E Ink technology.

With IONNYK now part of the portfolio and InkPoster is in its final refinement phase before global sales this autumn, PocketBook is ready to expand the horizons of digital art with it’s premium ePaper devices.
